Kriingg App

Kriingg is a comprehensive mobile marketplace and delivery ecosystem designed to bridge the gap between consumers and local merchants. It offers an intuitive mobile application where users can seamlessly explore merchant menus, manage delivery addresses, place orders, and process payments securely. The platform is powered by a high-performance HTTP service framework on the backend to ensure fast response times, concurrency, and reliability for order processing and merchant management.

My Role As a Mobile Developer & API Contributor, I was primarily responsible for building the cross-platform mobile application utilizing React Native. In addition to frontend development, I actively contributed to the backend by developing and maintaining critical RESTful APIs.

The Challenge Building a local marketplace requires strict real-time data accuracy, especially concerning order states, merchant menus, and payment processing. The primary challenge was to create a fluid, native-like mobile experience that could seamlessly communicate with a highly concurrent backend. Furthermore, implementing a secure and reliable payment gateway while maintaining a frictionless checkout flow was critical to the platform's success.

The Solution

  • Cross-Platform Mobile Development: Developed a highly responsive and dynamic mobile user interface using React and Tailwind CSS.

  • Payment Integration: Successfully integrated the payment gateway to handle secure and automated transactions, ensuring absolute data integrity between the mobile client, the API server, and the PostgreSQL database.

The Outcome Delivered a robust, user-friendly platform that empowers local merchants and provides customers with a smooth browsing, shopping, and delivery experience. By having a hand in both the mobile client and the backend APIs, I was able to highly optimize the data payloads tailored specifically for mobile consumption—significantly reducing latency, improving app load times, and enhancing the overall user experience.
